Program: Human Resources Development Program (HRDP)
Objective: To provide opportunities for qualification, retraining, and the acquisition of new skills to adapt to modern requirements.
Budget: 74 million BGN
Eligible Applicants: All natural and legal persons and their associations registered under the Commercial Law, with registration no later than September 30, 2023.
Grant Size Per Project:
Minimum Grant Amount: 20,000 BGN
Maximum Grant Amount: 5,867,400 BGN
Funding Rate:
– For large enterprises: up to 50%
– For medium enterprises: up to 60%
– For small/micro enterprises: up to 70%
ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES
1. Providing training to acquire or improve professional qualifications (no higher than the third qualification level) for individuals from the target groups, tailored to the individual characteristics of the person and the specifics of the workplace.
2. Specific workplace-related training, including: acquisition of specific digital skills; training for management personnel to enhance business skills, with a focus on the circular economy and the green transition; and the introduction of low-carbon, resource-efficient, and zero-waste processes and technologies, among others.
3. Training for the acquisition of “soft” skills (within the framework of key competence (KC) 2 – Multilingual competence, KC 3 – Mathematical competence and competence in science, technology, and engineering, KC 5 – Personal, social, and learning-to-learn competence, and KC 7 – Entrepreneurial competence).
4. Employment of trained individuals under the project after successfully completing their participation in training(s) (project sustainability) – MANDATORY ACTIVITY – the applicant commits to maintaining employment for a period of 6 months for at least 50% of the representatives of the target group who have successfully completed their participation in applicable activities from 1 to 3, inclusive, after completing all training for the specific individual.
