The “Digital Europe” program is an EU program aimed at expanding the benefits of digital transformation for all European citizens, public administrations, and businesses. The program’s budget for the period 2021-2027 amounts to 7.59 billion euros.

The program provides strategic funding for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and public administration to support their digital transformation.

Eligible candidates and target groups under the program are:

SMEs and startups operating in the field of digital technologies; research and educational institutions; public administrations; NGOs, associations, and others.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

The “Digital Europe” program provides support for projects in five key areas that align with its specific objectives, as follows:
  • Specific Objective 1: “High-Performance Computing” (Supercomputers) – 2.2 billion euros.
    Specific Objective 2: “Artificial Intelligence” – 2.1 billion euros.
    Specific Objective 3: “Cybersecurity and Trust” – 1.7 billion euros.
    Specific Objective 4: “Advanced Digital Skills” – 580 million euros.
    Specific Objective 5: “Deployment and Optimal Use of Digital Capacity and Interoperability” – 1.1 billion euros.
